Chefs in Schools is a UK charity transforming school food and food education. Every child deserves to eat and learn about real, nutritious, and delicious food in school. Our chef educators upskill kitchen teams, inspire pupils and staff, and help create a whole-school approach that supports learning, sustainability and health. We partner with schools, councils, trusts and caterers to make that happen.

We work with leaders on the levers that matter. Costed, compliant menus cooked from scratch. Smarter procurement that protects nutrition and value. Training that raises skills, retention and consistency. Clear allergen, safeguarding and H&S processes. Dining that is calm and inclusive. We track KPIs with you so you can see impact on uptake, waste, costs and satisfaction.

As a charity at the forefront of school food policy, we share best practice and champion change nationally while delivering it locally. Programmes include School Transformation for schools wanting excellent in-house catering; a fully funded School Chef training course for kitchen teams; and Membership, an online hub for in-house teams everywhere.
