Boundaries, balance and being bold

Saying no (without guilt) and taking back control of your time

Seminar brief

Requests flying in from every direction? Sound familiar? When you’re the person who always gets things done, it’s easy to become the go-to for everything— but that’s not sustainable.

In this honest and supportive session, Lisa Bower explores how to set healthy boundaries, manage competing priorities, and say no with confidence (and kindness). You’ll learn how to protect your time and energy without damaging relationships — and how to lead by example when it comes to workload and wellbeing.

In this seminar we explore

• Why boundaries are essential — and how to set them without conflict

• Techniques for managing expectations (up, down and sideways!)

• How to say no without burning bridges

• Practical ways to reset when things feel overwhelming

• Leading a healthier culture — for yourself and your team

Take-home points

  • Scripts and strategies for setting boundaries professionally

  • Tools to prioritise what actually matters

  • Ways to shift team and leadership mindset around capacity

This session is for school business professionals who

Are stretched thin and want to protect their time, energy and impact — without guilt.
