Challenging Local Authorities on SEND Funding and SEND placements
Defending Schools’ Rights on SEND
Seminar Brief
Ensuring access to appropriate funding is a challenge that many schools are facing, and which is made more difficult by the increase in unsuitable placements being made. In this session, Forbes break down the legal steps schools can take to challenge local authority decisions around SEND funding, as well as challenging decisions of the local authority to place a child in your school. You’ll have a clearer understanding of your rights, the options available to you, and how to prepare robust responses to the local authority.
In this seminar we explore
