About the speakers


Helen is a consultant school business leader with more than 25 years of experience working in operations and strategic management within the educational sector. She is a fellow and trustee of the Institute of School Business Leadership (ISBL) and co-chairs the UK Schools Sustainability Network (UKSSN) Operations Group.


Bryan McCourt is an energy solutions & net zero consultant at Zenergi. Bryan works specifically with the education sector helping multi academy trusts, independent schools, colleges, maintained junior and primary academies and secondary schools achieve better budgets through smarter energy purchasing. Bryan has also helped schools and trusts secure hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of grant funding for Net Zero projects in the education estate.


Daniel is a graduate from the University of Birmingham, where he studied a joint honours degree in Mathematics and Music. His unique academic background reflects both analytical strength and creative flair. He has quickly flourished within the Energy sector, undertaking a variety of different projects, including Heat Decarbonisation Plans, ESOS audits, BMS optimisation surveys, and solar feasibility studies. He also assisted with the creation of the department energy audit calculator.
