About the speakers:


Alice is a solicitor specialising in assisting public sector clients, acting on behalf of Local Authorities, education providers and housing associations. Alice advises on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues. Alice also provides support on business and personal immigration matters. This includes but is not limited to guiding applications through the skilled worker visa application process; dependent visa process; and visit visa process. Alice provides ongoing advice and support to individuals and businesses with their immigration queries.


Emma Swann is an education partner at Forbes who has advised schools on governance and commercial matters for many years. Emma acted on some of the earliest academy conversions and MAT expansions. She regularly advises schools on pastoral matters such as parental complaints; exclusions; safeguarding; and SEND challenges. Emma also advises on commercial contracts, including Collaboration Agreements and Hire Facilities Agreements.
